As with any martial art, there’s a potential for injury. While we prioritize safety and work to prevent injuries, they can occasionally occur.

You don’t have be an athlete or in the best shape of your life to join our community. But to participate in Jiu Jitsu, or any grappling sport, you will need to be able to get up and down on the floor mats and be ready move around there. If you have any health concerns please consult your physician before starting.

Learning Jiu Jjitsu is a personal journey. While some people enjoy it for the exercise, self defense or  community, others  are here for the sport and competition side of it. The more you practice the more you will grow.
